Located just past the main dining area Whispers pub is the perfect place to enjoy a serving of bangers and mashers, shepherd's pie, rib roast or just a burger and a beer. On weekends, Whispers becomes a favorite local watering hole.

Whispers Pub was named for the signature window that adorns it. This stained glass was designed and executed by master artisans in the Rudy Brother's Studio in 1897. The skillful painting on the window was done by Charles Connick when he apprenticed with Horace Rudy. The window was created for a house in Squirrel Hill that was built by a prominent Pittsburgh family who occupied the home for 47 years. The unusual setting for the window is a fancy black die Middle Eastern dress party. These parties were the rage of society in this time period when Moorish design was a fashionable part of the Victorian scene. The focal point of this window is the two beautiful women. One is whispering party gossip into the others ear, adding intrigue to the scene. It was a rare occurrence to commission a featured window of this caliber for a private home.
